Actually, some children, influenced by the Hindi film ‘Gabbar’, had demanded extortion money of Rs. 2 lakh each from teachers and school workers to correct the system’s glitch. The case is of Shriramprasad High School Puranhiya of Sahiyara police station area of the district.
According to the information, four days ago, in Shriramprasad Uchcha Madhyamik Vidyalay Puranhiya, extortion was demanded from the teachers by pasting posters. Police has got a big success in this case. Police has solved the case by arresting four miscreants in the case of extortion. Police said that this incident was carried out by the 12th class students and former students of the school. It is worth mentioning that these accused children had threatened to shoot if the extortion money was not paid.
In a press conference held in the discussion room of the Collectorate, DM Richie Pandey said that there was an atmosphere of fear among the teachers after the extortion was demanded by pasting the poster in the school. After the incident, teachers were avoiding going to school. Many teachers were demanding transfer. The district and police administration are committed to the safety of the common citizens. In such a situation, the incident of extortion by a part of the administration itself had become a challenge for everyone. Since this incident, the DM himself was monitoring the case.
He said that the district and police administration took this incident as a challenge and started their work. Then SP Manoj Kumar Tiwari’s team solved the entire case before the target time. The DM has also congratulated the SDPO and SP for this.
